Legal, Information Access and Prosecutions (LIAP) is a Branch within Corporate Division which contains the following units:
• Legal Services
• RTI, Privacy & Complaints Management
• Prosecutions Services; and
• Office of the Chief Legal Officer.

We are seeking a Senior Business Advisor (Legal Operations) to work within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer team.

As a Senior Business Advisor (Legal Operations), some of your responsibilities will include:

 • Develop, prepare and deliver efficiency projects for Legal Services and RTIPCM units.
• Plan implement and manage workflow systems and processes to ensure the most efficient delivery of outputs for Legal Services and RTIPCM units.
• Lead and supervise the service delivery to internal clients and external stakeholders in relation to legal billing and finances ensuring all payments to external suppliers are processed in accordance with the Financial Management Policy.
• Manage and monitor the Legal Accounts Payable financial performance using SAP to analyse trends and ensure adherence to budget.
• Provide strategic and operational advice on a variety of administrative, Human Resource, Finance, Document Management, Performance Management and Information, Communication and Technology systems to achieve functional business priorities and TMR strategic objectives. 
• Administer procurement of specialist contractors and replacement agency staff for the unit, oversee processes and documentation.
• Engage, build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, other government departments and business partners.
• Assist with the coordination of the smooth management of day-to-day operations of the Business Support Team, including supporting and guiding the team.
