Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to provide housing assistance, homelessness support services, local government support and advice, state and regional planning, public works building and design and industry regulatory reform. You will be working in a team focused on driving organisational improvements to enhance customer service by analysing performance, operational, and customer data to generate insights that improve frontline service delivery and foster a deeper understanding of our customers' needs. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.

Service Delivery, Housing and Homelessness Services provides a range of services, products and referrals to offer housing solutions for diverse customer groups.

You will be responsible for leading and coordinating the design, development and delivery of service delivery transformation initiatives aimed at achieving a holistic and person-centred practice which links customers to the support they need to improve their wellbeing and self- reliance, and access and sustain safe and secure tenancies. This approach recognises that a person's successful housing is linked to factors beyond their tenancy.

What you will be doing:
• Contribute to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of projects and initiatives focused on person-centred human service delivery.
• Assist in developing and implementing project plans and apply an agile project management methodology to deliver timely, high quality project outcomes
• Develop and maintain effective networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project outcomes. 
• Undertake objective systematic research, analysis and interpretation of date from multiple sources to provide evidence-based and timely advice to senior managers.
• Understand and maintain knowledge in contemporary person-centred service delivery policy and practice.
• Assist in the timely preparation and presentation of high quality documentation, reports, correspondence, briefing notes, plans, submissions, presentations. 
• Establish effective business systems and practices to support the work of the unit.
• Work actively in multi-disciplinary, dynamic teams across service areas.
• Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
