How you'll contribute

As Director, Advertising, you will be a driven high-performing leader that is passionate about communicating with all Queenslanders and working to build a multidisciplinary team to deliver a portfolio of advertising campaigns that communicate government priorities. You'll be at the centre of government, responsible for developing a whole-of-government approach to advertising and providing trusted advice across the sector.

In this diverse and intellectually stimulating role, you'll make your mark by leading:

  • development of the Queensland Government's advertising strategy.
  • delivery of end-to-end advertising campaigns for key priorities of the government including strategy, creative production, market research, media strategy, digital, website, communication and evaluation.
  • best-practice market research in consultation with experts, including distilling insights from qualitative and quantitative research to guide campaign development and evaluation.
  • provision of high-quality advice to Queensland Government communication specialists to ensure best practice delivery of campaigns.
  • a high-performing team of communication professionals that thrive on problem solving, building relationships and delivering communication outcomes.

What you'll bring to the role

You'll draw on your exemplary experience in building in leading teams, ability to work in a fast-paced, everchanging environment with large workloads and tight timeframes and ability to build relationships quickly and successfully across the sector and industry. Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
