The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is an independent statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. We investigate crime and corruption, and have oversight of the public sector including police. The CCC also has responsibility for restraining and recovering suspected proceeds of crime and administers Queensland's witness protection program. Its functions and powers are set out in the Crime and Corruption Act 2001.

About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:
- Provide strong and effective leadership to the Corruption Investigations business unit of the CCC and foster a culture of innovation and high performance to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Oversee the investigation of allegations of serious and systemic corruption, including workplace and discipline investigations, ensuring investigations are efficient and consider a corruption prevention and policy perspective to improve public sector integrity.
- Manage key relationships across all levels and jurisdictions of the public sector, including other oversight and law enforcement agencies, to ensure the performance of the CCC's corruption functions, with an emphasis on the investigation of allegations of corruption.
- Anticipate and identify opportunities to deliver continuous improvement and best practice in corruption investigations.
- Identify and deliver a broad range of investigate outcomes, including the charging of alleged offenders, the preparation of public reports, and the preparation of material and reports for public sector agencies to underpin prevention and policy recommendations.
- Work strategically with the Corruption Leadership team and other CCC stakeholders to achieve the CCC's strategic objectives relevant to the Corruption Division, including achieving outcomes through prevention and enforcement.
- Ensure effective management and monitoring of budget and human resources in accordance with statutory responsibilities, CCC priorities, policies and procedures.
