You will provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation within Rockhampton Police Prosecution Corps.

Rockhampton Police Prosecution Corps is a medium sized establishment with a combination of both sworn and civilian prosecutors, supported by administration staff.

Prosecutors are responsible for police related matters in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court District in addition to servicing Magistrates Courts at Yeppoon Woorabinda and Biloela.

Administrative staff provide the requisite support for these roles.

Your key accountabilities

The core capability requirements for this role are:

• Contribute to the development, implementation and review of systems, policies and procedures which support the provision of services within Prosecution Services.
• Prepare and process correspondence and other documentation including data entry relevant to court documentation in accordance with approved procedures and process and maintain necessary records.
• Develop, implement and maintain office systems, policies and procedures and prepare correspondence of an administrative nature
• Establish and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to complement service provision.
• Research Queensland Police Service (QPS) information systems to obtain relevant information to support the prosecution process relevant to court proceedings.
• Review prosecution files to identify offenders suitable to participate in offender programs.
• Provide administrative support to QPS prosecutors at court proceedings and meetings.
