Join a dynamic team within the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) and play a pivotal role in delivering timely, efficient, professional and high quality outcomes in government business and correspondence administration. As the Senior Correspondence Officer, you will build and sustain positive and collaborative relationships to influence others and work across boundaries in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver the timely and accurate coordination of government business and correspondence processes for OIR.
- Build and sustain proactive and collaborative working relationships within OIR, the Deputy Premier's Office and the Cabinet and Executive Services team within the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning to support the delivery of government business.
- Review material to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and provide advice and support to OIR officers as necessary.
- Maintain effective and efficient workflows by forward planning for known events and prioritising and assisting in the efficient handling of correspondence and subsequent approvals.
- Support the implementation of processes to measure and improve the effectiveness of systems and processes.
- Adhere to departmental and whole of government guidelines and policies (e.g. Queensland Cabinet Handbook) with regards to the recording, secure retention and dissemination of documentation and advice relating to OIR business.
