As Senior Strategy & Bid Officer (Transformation) you will work across a portfolio of strategic, high -priority projects focused on designing and implementing major transformative benefits to the organisation and community.

With strong team support you will consult broadly across the organisation, applying your critical thinking skills to distil complex information, identify strategic opportunities, and develop credible briefings, bids and submissions.

Your key accountabilities

The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and overview of appropriate strategies, policy initiatives, standards and guidelines, and other written materials in line with agency requirements.
  • Assist in the monitoring, reviewing and reporting the achievement of deliverables to guide and improve future organisational performance.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and review of state budget and other Cabinet documents.
  • Consult and liaise effectively with partners and stakeholders within the organisation and relevant government and non-government organisations on agency related state budget, strategy, planning, reporting and performance issues.
  • Prepare and review reports, briefing notes, submissions, business cases, departmental and other correspondence in accordance with organisational requirements.
  • Deliver presentations and reports to senior executives and represent the business unit and agency at internal and external forums, committees and working parties.

Role Requirements

Qualification

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience
  • High level writing skills and experience writing funding or grant submissions, bids/offers or tenders will be highly regarded.
