QSA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Finance and Reporting Officer to join our team to provide high-level assistance in the delivery of financial services.

The Senior Finance and Reporting Officer role will support QSA and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and manage QSA’s budget, manage end of month reporting, undertake monthly analysis and prepare reports identifying anomalies and trends.

If you have experience in financial management including budget development, financial analysis and reporting, work effectively as a team player and are experienced in building relationships, communicating and working collaboratively with stakeholders then we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for a Senior Finance and Reporting Officer to join the Business Operations team in this exciting and rewarding role.

The role will provide a high-level of assistance in the timely delivery of financial services and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role you will:

  • Provide a high level of support to the Manager Business Operations in the development and management of QSA's budget.
  • Provide leadership to and collaborate with the Finance Officer to ensure the accurate and timely execution of financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Manage end of month reporting and undertake monthly analysis of SAP data, preparing reports identifying any anomalies and trends.
  • Lead the development and ongoing management of QSA's assets including asset register, useful life review, asset replacement planning and overall performance of assets.
  • Undertake financial related projects including review of fees and charges for services rendered.
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of current departmental policies to develop a culture of continuous learning across the business
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, working with the Business Operations Officer to contribute to the effectiveness of the finance systems and processes.
  • Provide support in the development and review of financial data and correspondence including estimates hearings, etc.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure good governance.
