The Sports Scientist (Physiology) is responsible for providing physiology support and advice as part of the Swimming Performance Support team at the Sunshine Coast Hub.
Some of your responsibilities will include: 
• Provide world-leading evidence-based Physiology servicing and advice to QAS coaches and categorised athletes in line with each athlete's Individual Athlete Performance Plan (IAPP) which is aligned to the Swimming Australia What IT Takes To Win (WITTW) framework. 
• Deliver specific and relevant performance testing and tracking/monitoring for categorised athletes and provide timely feedback to the coaches, athletes and performance support team members. 
• Contribute to the development of IAPPs and regularly review the associated specific development priorities and performance metrics to measure progress. 
• Work closely with the relevant discipline leads to ensure world class physiology support is being delivered at the QAS. 
• Work collaboratively as part of a high performing team, establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to identify, lead and deliver high quality integrated outcomes.
