The primary accountabilities of the Human Resource Officer include:
- Manage incoming requests for QCS including review and allocation of tasks related to employee queries.
- Provide an efficient and high-quality customer service response to ensure that business requirements and timeframes are met.
- Provide advice and coaching within QCS to ensure that centre based HR actions and requests comply with relevant processes and delegations.
- Contribute to the development, review and implementation of centre based HR processes and resources.
- Perform the function of a key contact point for internal business enquiries and processes, and regularly engage with Queensland Shared Services (QSS) in the management of internal requests.
- Provide general human resources advice to business areas and support the Advisor Human Resources in designated tasks relating to general human resources activities or enquiries.
- Maintain contemporary knowledge of employment legislation, awards, directives and policies relevant to human resources.
