We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Maintenance Backlog infrastructure projects across Queensland's correctional facilities. As a key member of our team, you'll develop and deliver robust project plans, manage multiple minor and complex infrastructure projects, and ensure compliance with government frameworks and policies.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-impact maintenance backlog infrastructure projects that support the strategic objectives of Queensland Corrective Services (QCS). You'll work closely with stakeholders to develop and execute project plans, manage complex projects, and ensure compliance with government frameworks and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, priorities, and schedules for major works projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify infrastructure requirements and develop business cases
  • Manage tender processes, contractual arrangements, and project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with government frameworks, policies, and legislation
  • Provide technical expertise and project management guidance to teams
  • Foster a culture of project management excellence and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in managing multiple capex projects in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and software
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and for extended periods
  • Experience in infrastructure or construction developments in high-security environments is desirable
