In addition to the responsibilities associated with the individual teams, you will be required to:
• Work in a flexible, multi-disciplinary team managing projects and fostering a positive team environment.
• Provide technical advice to internal and external clients on local, statutory and regional planning issues.
• Prepare written correspondence, submissions, briefs and reports on land use planning issues and initiatives.
• Undertake research, analysis and problem solving.
• Represent the Department, as appropriate, at industry/stakeholders' events, meetings and working groups in an effective and professional manner, building your professional relationships across the local, regional and State planning network.
• Contribute to and support whole of government involvement and input on matters of State and/or regional significance into local government plans, statutory and other land use planning processes.
Interpret and implement Planning Act legislation, regulations, and guidelines relating to work area policies and functions.
