Rangers ensure that Queensland’s national parks, state forests and reserves are protected, accessible and valued by all Queenslanders. Rangers work in partnership with local communities and other stakeholders to contribute to the land management, recreational and conservation outcomes across the protected areas.

The Ideal Candidate:
· Displays a keen interest in conservation and land management.
· Actively participates in prescribed burning, fuel reduction, and bushfire management.
· Practical skills and experience in the operation and maintenance of heavy and minor plant, equipment, and tools for asset maintenance are desirable.
· Manage small projects, undertake compliance and perform various natural and cultural resource management duties.
· Exhibits strong organisational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks with precision.
· Ability to support and share skills with a diverse group of people.
