About the Role
As our new Structural Technologist, you'll be at the heart of planning, designing, and maintaining the state's most critical road infrastructure. You'll use your expertise in 2D and 3D modelling (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, 12D) to produce high-quality digital engineering outputs for bridges and other structures. Your work will directly support safer, more sustainable, and more connected communities across Queensland.
What You'll Do
• Develop and maintain accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for major infrastructure projects.
• Ensure all outputs meet TMR standards, specifications, and codes.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver coordinated, timely results.
• Use design automation and computational tools to drive efficiency and innovation.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
What We're Looking For
• To be eligible you must either hold a 3-year Sydney Accord Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and 12D.
• Familiarity with the BIM for Transport and Main Roads guideline, TMR Drafting Manual, and ISO 19650.
• A keen eye for detail and a drive for quality.
