This position is based in Brisbane but flexible work arrangements can be considered upon application, including working from home and working remotely at a Regional QBCC office (subject to availability).

 

PLEASE NOTE: The QBCC Brisbane office will be relocating from West End to the Brisbane CBD at the end of 2025.

 

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

  • Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for technical queries from the helpdesk.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and administration of complex technical solutions and system deployments across local and wide area networks, supporting enterprise-wide applications and large scale computing.
  • Resolve issues in the functionality and interoperability of infrastructure and other cloud services within existing IT systems.

Candidate Attributes

  1. Demonstrated ability to undertake objective, systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions based on evidence. Ability to recognise the links between interconnected issues, identify problems and resolve them. Ability to think laterally and identify implements.
  2. Demonstrable experience in cloud and on-premise infrastructure services/service provider environments, specifically with AWS, Office365, Azure, Intune, VMWare, and SCCM.
  3. Demonstrable experience in modern backup technologies to protect both on-premises and cloud workloads.
  4. Strong interpersonal communication skills to facilitate exceptional engagement with multiple teams and stakeholders across the business and consults and shares information, ensuring others are kept informed of issues.
  5. Works collaboratively, operates as an influential team member and relationship focus, including time management and prioritisation.
