The Director, Technology Services provides leadership in operational, security, infrastructure and application support services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the delivery of high value services to our customers, including operational, security, infrastructure and application support services (CNSL 7)
• Effective management and support of network, application and infrastructure assets and services (PGMG 7)
• Manage the processes, systems, and functions to package, build, test and deploy changes and updates to supported ICT services (ITMG 7)
• Lead the measurement, maintenance, and improvement of all aspects of service and component availability
• Contribute to the design and implementation of an operating model that reflects our changing ways of working

Other Responsibilities:
- Assist and collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to contribute to the development of DoJ's technology strategy and delivery of the organisation's technology services.
- Contribute to the management and coordination of major ICT projects and contracts to ensure seamless development, integration and delivery of ICT initiatives and platforms across DoJ.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of core ICT architecture and design standards across the information technology systems.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability:
- Proven knowledge/experience of IT infrastructure, cloud, data, end user computing, security and application development and support.
- Proven ability to lead and drive the implementation of projects and solutions that meet strategic and business needs.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in an agile work environment.
- Proven ability to provide strategic advice to senior leaders and relevant governance forums.
- High level communication skills, including influencing and negotiation.
- Proven ability of relationship management including the ability to build and maintain productive relationships, manage conflict and negotiate positive outcomes.
- Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships and manage expectations.
