Exciting Opportunity: Maintenance & Asset Management Lead – Northern Region

About the role
Based in the Northern Region, you'll lead the coordination of our regional maintenance program, including the management of our Heavy Plant Unit and the delivery of complex asset maintenance projects.
From writing work programs and managing budgets to engaging contractors and using the latest digital tools, your days will be diverse and rewarding. You'll play a key role in planning, reporting, and delivering projects that matter — and you'll be surrounded by passionate professionals who care deeply about our parks and the communities that rely on them.
Your day-to-day will include:
• Leading the maintenance and asset management program for the Northern Region
• Overseeing operations of the Heavy Plant Unit
• Managing project budgets, timelines, and contractor performance
• Leading procurement processes for engineers, architects, and trades
• Supporting staff in using databases, mobile tools, and asset management systems
• Providing technical advice and hands-on support to our regional teams
• Ensuring all projects meet safety, environmental, and quality standards
We're looking for someone who:
• Has experience in project management, construction, or infrastructure maintenance
• Knows their way around procurement and contracts
• Is organised, solutions-focused, and thrives working across multiple projects
• Can communicate clearly and build great relationships
• Has a passion for the outdoors and wants to make a difference
