In the temporary role of Senior Advisor (Data and Systems Analyst) you will lead the analysis and support of correspondence systems and workflows, generating performance reports using Cognos, and delivering technical support and training for DocTrak and the Briefing Note Database. Additional responsibilities include system troubleshooting, access management across TMR platforms, and the provision of high-level administrative support.

The Senior Advisor (Data and Systems Analyst) leads projects within the Reporting and Systems Support team to improve correspondence management and government business workflows. This includes maintaining and supporting systems like HCL Notes (Lotus Notes), DocTrak, and Briefing Note Databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis and support for correspondence systems and workflows.
  • Prepare performance reports using Cognos (daily, weekly, monthly, ad hoc).
  • Provide technical support and training for DocTrak and Briefing Note Database users.
  • Troubleshoot and administer systems via Service Centre Online.
  • Manage access permissions across TMR systems.
  • Develop and implement business and project proposals.
  • Support project teams and consult with stakeholders.
  • Provide executive administrative support using modern systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of TMR products and services.
  • Assist with document preparation and formatting.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Criminal history check due to access to sensitive data.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with HCL Notes, QDOT/Exchange, Service Centre Online, Cognos.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Emotional intelligence and adaptability.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
  • Leadership and team support capabilities.
