AO5 Digital Designer - Department of Justice
We're seeking a talented Digital Designer to lead the delivery of digital design services across both digital and traditional channels. In this role, you will manage end-to-end creative production—including graphic design and multimedia projects—ensuring all outputs are visually striking, follow accessibility guidelines and government identity.
About the role
As our Digital Designer, you will:
• Oversee the development and delivery of creative assets for communication projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise on graphic design best practice.
• Manage your production schedule, coordinate resources, and maintain quality control across multiple projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines while adhering to accessibility and government communication and brand standards.
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver creative solutions.
• Support delivery of videography and photography services including filming, sound, and lighting setup as required.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging design technologies.
What we're looking for
• Technical expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Confident using Microsoft Word and other Office applications to support project delivery.
• Creative execution: Ability to take a project brief and translate it into compelling visual outputs across digital and traditional channels.
• Project coordination: Skilled at managing your own workload, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities while maintaining high design standards.
• Stakeholder engagement: Comfortable working with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver quality outcomes that align with style and accessibility guidelines.
• Cultural capability: Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture.
