This position is based in Brisbane, and the successful candidate will have the option to work from home under an approved Flexible Work Arrangement.

 

Please note: The QBCC Brisbane office will be relocating from West End to the Brisbane CBD at the end of 2025.

 

Key Outcomes and Accountabilities

 

In this role, you will build strong client relationships by developing a deep understanding of business priorities and people management challenges, and work collaboratively with the broader HR team to deliver tailored, strategic HR solutions. As a HR generalist, you'll provide expertise across workforce planning, talent and capability development, organisational change, performance management, employee relations, WHS, and HR metrics. You'll coach and empower managers to handle complex people matters, proactively analyse workforce trends, and contribute to the design and implementation of HR initiatives and policies. Additionally, you will prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and submissions on a range of HR issues for executive leadership and external stakeholders.
