Principal Analyst

You will provide analysis and support of applications which enable the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety to effectively engage with front line officers, non-government organisations, foster carers and vulnerable Queenslanders. The role requires requirements development incorporating scope definition, information gathering, prioritisation, client, and vendor engagement, and change management.
You will be supporting Managed Solutions SaaS systems that record, securely store, and maintain information for non-government partner organisations and client agencies.

As a Principal Analyst you will:
• Oversee the delivery of application enhancements and governance, including incident, problem, change and release management, proactively managing risks or issues that affect release scope, schedule, or quality with an external vendor.
• Formulate change requirements from existing backlogs incorporating business priorities and strategic alignment and ensure efficient delivery of items from start to finish.
• Ensure that procured services deliver the agreed capacity and performance targets in a cost effective and timely manner in line with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) defined in the vendor contract.
• Work collaboratively within the team, building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives, business representatives, non-government organisations and vendors.
• Establish and maintain governance processes through established Reference Groups informing prioritisation of requests.
