The focus of this role is compliance and education activities on K’gari (Fraser Island). Delivery will be mainly related to wongari (dingo) issues, the programs will encompass all aspects of K’gari (Fraser Island) and at times Great Sandy management. The position will be expected to undertake face to face client engagement, issue Penalty Infringement Notices for breaches of legislation and support investigations. The position will at times be required to assist with delivering natural resource management such as fires, pest & weed control and maintenance of infrastructure including visitor facilities & buildings, walking tracks and firebreaks.

The successful applicant will require the demonstrated ability to develop and implement contemporary compliance and communication programs.
This position is based on K'gari (Fraser Island). You are required to work a 10/4 roster including weekend work and may be required to live on island during your shift.
