Indigenous Strategy and Partnerships is a small, high performing team responsible for leading the department's strategic commitments to improving life outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families and reducing the disproportionate representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. The Manager is responsible for leading a team to develop, support and deliver Queensland government's commitments and strategic priorities. This includes providing high level strategic advice to support the Senior Executives to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders perspectives throughout policy, programs, practice and reform and renewal agenda.
The Manager will work closely with the Queensland First Children and Families Board (QFCFB), Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak (QATSICCP), central agencies of government, other State and Commonwealth government departments and the non-government sector to achieve outcomes.
