For 165 years, the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) has been building the foundations of Queensland. Responding to the issues of today while ensuring stability and growth for the future.

As part of a central agency, you will work in partnership with our stakeholders across government to deliver best practice policy advice to the Premier, Cabinet, Cabinet Budget Review Committee and various other Cabinet Committees.

How you'll contribute:
As Director, Economic Policy you will get the opportunity to lead and manage a policy team to ensure the delivery of major policy initiatives.

What you'll bring to the role:
You'll draw on your good working knowledge of Cabinet processes, understanding of policy and/or legislative frameworks and ability to communicate at all levels to manage complex issues and provide strategic advice to support the development of longer-term policy directions for government consideration. A relevant tertiary qualification in public policy, law or a related field would be highly regarded.
