As an AO6 Senior Executive Officer, you'll play a central role in supporting the Deputy Director-General, Business and Corporate Partnership (BCP), by managing high-level reporting, correspondence and governance processes. Your work will help ensure that the division's strategic and operational commitments are met efficiently and with a strong focus on quality and accountability.
A typical day may involve preparing and reviewing briefing materials for executive meetings, coordinating business planning and reporting activities, or monitoring divisional governance requirements. You'll provide informed, timely advice to the Executive Manager and leadership team, ensuring the Deputy Director-General is equipped with the insights and information needed for effective decision-making.
You'll also contribute to the coordination of key corporate meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking, while liaising with stakeholders across the department to ensure reporting obligations are met. With your analytical and problem-solving skills, you'll identify opportunities to improve administrative and reporting processes, streamline workflows, and strengthen internal communication.
This role requires a proactive and professional individual with excellent communication skills, capable of preparing high-quality documentation including reports, correspondence and submissions. You'll bring a strong understanding of corporate governance, planning and performance reporting, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver outcomes on time and to a high standard.
Working within a small and dynamic team, you'll be expected to juggle competing priorities, maintain discretion when handling sensitive information, and manage tasks that support divisional and departmental objectives.
