An exciting opportunity exists for a high performing individual to join The Wave (Rail), within Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of AO6 Senior Graphic Designer.

The Wave (Rail) project, previously known as the Direct Sunshine Coast Rail Line project, is a generational infrastructure project that will revolutionise travel for the Sunshine Coast region, creating a seamless public transport network for the region.
The Wave will deliver heavy passenger rail from Beerwah to Birtinya, and metro style vehicles will provide links between Birtinya, Mountain Creek, Maroochydore CBD and the Sunshine Coast Airport.

The Opportunity
In the role of Senior Graphic Designer, you will define and maintain corporate identity standards to ensure all content aligns with branding guidelines and the overarching marketing and communications strategy for The Wave (Rail) project. You will create, design, and produce a wide range of materials, including publications, brochures, newsletters, maps, advertisements, and presentation materials, to support the successful delivery of the project. The role involves planning and managing the production of creative and engaging content across digital and print platforms, while contributing to the development of The Wave (Rail)'s owned asset library through photos, animations, and vector files.

As the Senior Graphic Designer, you will provide expert design and digital communication advice to executives, stakeholders, and departmental representatives, ensuring compliance with branding and whole-of-government
policies. You will collaborate with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary communication teams to deliver high-quality projects efficiently, while monitoring and evaluating branding and design practices to improve their impact. Additionally, you will build strong relationships with content providers and stakeholders to ensure the timely release of engaging content and occasionally assist the Principal Advisor (Communications and Engagement) with broader communications and engagement activities.

You will model behaviours and attitudes aligned with TMR's values and contribute to a positive team culture, meeting of team and personal accountability expectations, and modelling the standards of professional behaviour.
