About the Role
As Team Leader ICT Services and Security, you'll lead the team responsible for delivering secure, efficient, and customer-focused ICT services across QLeave.
Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology and Innovation, you will:
- Lead and optimise ICT service delivery across infrastructure, cloud, and end-user environments.
- Strengthen cybersecurity and compliance using frameworks such as ITIL, ISMS, and the ASD Essential 8.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and reporting to monitor effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with business areas and service partners to deliver responsive ICT solutions that meet strategic priorities.
- Provide high-level advice, reports, and recommendations to senior management and governance committees.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability across ICT operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five ICT professionals, fostering technical capability and high performance.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a forward-thinking ICT leader who combines strong technical capability with people leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
You'll have:
- Proven experience leading ICT operations or services within a large, customer-focused organisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in information and cybersecurity management.
- Strong understanding of service delivery, process optimisation, and ICT governance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Experience implementing ICT strategies, policies, and performance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, ITIL, and ISMS frameworks.
Highly Regarded Qualifications
- ITIL 4 Certification
- Information Security Fundamentals (GISF)
- Knowledge of ISMS (IS18 / ISO 27001) and ASD Essential 8
- Experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments
