Truck Driver
Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre; Custodial Operations; Spring Creek
The Truck Driver is responsible for the delivering industry products in a timely manner. The position is part of the industries team.
In this role you will:
- Perform pre-start checks in accordance with relevant QCS procedures.
- Secure loads and review load restraints in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations;
- Manage relevant paperwork including delivery dockets;
- Pickup and deliver required supplies as requested;
- Prepare and submit accurate logbooks, incident reports and records concerning notifiable incidents;
- Provide reports for any equipment damage, defects or loss and maintain accurate administration records;
- Manage the relevant areas inside and outside of the industries building;
- Removal of bins and other rubbish as required;
- Assist in the industries area at the direction of the Manager, Industries;

The essential requirements for this role are:

- Well-developed communication skills as demonstrated through the ability to listen, understand and speak clearly to a wide range of audiences.

- Sound information technology, including, including Microsoft Word and Excel and other office technology
- Demonstrated attention to detail in the preparation and review of detailed documentation

- Planning & Organising abilities to ensure tasks are completed within the required deadlines and in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures
Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements
- Current HR Licence with minimum of 2 years' experience
- Australian Forklift licence with minimum of 2 years' experience in loading and unloading of trucks
