At Northview State School, we're ‘Growing Together' — creating a supportive, inclusive, and team-focused environment where every learner can thrive. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join our upper school team in a permanent part-time capacity (0.40 FTE).

🌿 About the Role

You will work collaboratively with our experienced teachers to engage, challenge, and support Year 6 students in their learning journey. Learning is at the heart of what we do, and we're looking for a teacher who brings energy, creativity, and care to the classroom.

🌟 We're looking for someone who:

• Demonstrates a positive and collaborative attitude and enjoys being part of a team.
• Shows flexibility and a willingness to learn within a supportive school culture.
• Is deeply committed to student wellbeing, engagement, and success.

🧩 Essential Skills and Experience:

• Current Queensland teacher registration.
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.

💡 Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience teaching upper primary students.
• Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum and digital learning tools.
  (Support is available for less experienced teachers.)
