As the Manager in the Office of the Associate Director-General, The Cabinet Office, you will assist the Associate Director-General and Director in the effective management of The Cabinet Office, with a focus on leading strategic planning to ensure good governance across the full range of internal services.
You will partner with relevant areas in The Cabinet Office and DPC to support effective delivery of: Ad hoc projects and planning to support enhanced efficiencies; Corporate and performance reporting; Financial management, including departmental and whole-of-government budget, Mid-Year Fiscal and Economic Review and Estimates processes; Financial processing, asset management and procurement; Human resource related processing activity and planning, and workforce and establishment management; Act as a divisional point of contact for corporate governance related activities.

About us: The Office of the Associate Director-General, The Cabinet Office provides leadership on all business support matters for the Division and supports The Cabinet Office Leadership Team manage operations, budget and establishment.

How you'll contribute: As the Manager, you will assist the Associate Director-General in the effective management of The Cabinet Office, with a focus on leading strategic planning to ensure good governance across the full range of internal services. You will partner with relevant areas in The Cabinet Office and DPC to support effective delivery of corporate responsibilities across the Division.

What you'll bring to the role: Demonstrated experience in effectively managing multiple competing priorities in a time-sensitive environment. Proven ability to identify and work with relevant stakeholders to solve difficult problems and provide actionable advice to senior executive leadership. Demonstrated experience in establishing, reviewing and improving systems and processes to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
