Domestic & Family Violence Integration Officer

Magistrates Courts Service; Queensland Courts Service; Courts and Tribunals; Cairns

Queensland’s court services are a crucial and fundamental cornerstone of civil society. As the Queensland courts undergo a period of transformation and reform, this position presents an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of these changes.

DFV Integration Officers are part of the DFV Court Program, Specialist Courts and Programs (SCP), and provide input on behalf of Courts and Tribunals, Department of Justice, to the Cairns High Risk Team (HRT). The HRT is a multi-agency response to domestic and family violence (DFV) and is one element of the integrated service response (ISR) to DFV. This is an approach which ensures coordination of services and supports across government, non-government, and other community organisations.
