As a Product Owner you will:
- Own sprint planning and defining the sprint goal and direct the prioritisation of activities for releases and the ‘backlog'. Make quick decisions during sprint planning and daily stand-ups to support efficient delivery cycles.
- Guide the agile scrum delivery team to ensure sprints are delivered on time, within budget and defined sprint tasks are completed.
- Build strong networks across the business to maintain deep and current knowledge of Child and Family and user needs enabling the delivery of client-focused outcomes whilst maximising the employee and customer experience
- Assist prioritisation and management of backlog of features, user stories, considering business value and technical priorities. Collaboratively refine the backlog with the scrum team to ensure understanding and alignment.
- Define the business and user requirements and translate this into inclusive and accessible design and development requirements for the delivery team.
- Balance the requests of various stakeholders, managing their varying interests and perspectives, while ensuring the scrum delivery team focuses on iteratively delivering value with each sprint.
- Support the Product Manager to maintain a clear, coherent product vision that aligns with business objectives, and through all aspects of design, consultation, testing and release of an effective solution.
- Assist with change management and business readiness activities to support releases, including providing input and conducting quality review & assurance of Child and Family Unify training and communication materials to ensure content is accurate, aligns with system functionality, relevant processes and business needs.
- Liaise with relevant Child and Family teams to ensure relevant policies, procedures or practice are considered within Unify. Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders on relevant issues relating to the Unify platform and ensure these are appropriately raised, addressed and managed.
- Participate in all elements of testing to ensure a quality product and provide advice on the implementation of effective and compliant practices and business requirements.
- Manage and facilitate workshops and system demonstrations to diverse audiences and seek feedback and input from the broader business community. Prepare communications and release notes for each release.
- Develop and maintain applicable Unify system documentation as required.
- Contribute and inform the review and evaluation of benefit realisation and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise outcomes including the ongoing embed and sustain strategy for Unify.
- Demonstrate experience in ensuring a strong cultural lens is applied to all decision making.
