Are you ready to contribute to Queensland's infrastructure and economic future?
Join Queensland Treasury's Commercial Projects Advisory group as a Principal Commercial Analyst and play a critical role in shaping major private and public sector projects and proposals for our state.
As a part of the Commercial Projects Advisory team, you will provide expert financial and commercial advice to the Treasurer, Under Treasurer, and government agencies. You will work at the intersection of government and private sector collaboration, addressing complex issues, analysing financial documents and negotiating for successful project outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity to leverage your commercial, financial, or government expertise to contribute meaningfully to Queensland's growth and development.

In this role, you will:
• Provide commercial advice to government agencies and Queensland Treasury on major projects and proposals, including evaluation, risk analysis, and private sector negotiations.
• Analyse financial models, reports, and commercial documentation to guide decision-making.
• Manage and guide team members and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate Queensland Treasury's involvement in whole-of-government responses to commercial projects.
• Lead responses or assist other agencies in addressing issues within commercial projects.
• Build and maintain strong networks across government and industry sectors.

What experience you will bring:
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality commercial advice.
• Expertise in project management with a focus on complex initiatives.
• Proficiency in presenting complex financial and commercial concepts effectively.
• A thorough understanding of industry and commercial policy frameworks within Queensland and nationally.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
