Project Officer Frontline Business Liaison

The Project Officer, Frontline Business Liaison, plays a key role as a subject matter expert, responsible for coordinating the communications for a range of ICT Transition projects. This position also contributes to the success of a range of projects by coordinating the provision of advice, support and collaboration to areas including but not limited to the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Triple Zero (000) Telephony environments.

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- High level of knowledge and understanding in the use of project and change management principles and methodologies within an ICT environment.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to actively manage risks and issues and provide impartial, evidence-based advice towards mitigation and resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise and articulate manner to a variety of audiences, including senior executives, and represent the QAS in internal and external forums.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship building capability and proven commitment to quality service and collaborative teamwork.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Applicants must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in Paramedicine or Health Science (Paramedic), or an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Ambulance); OR a Certificate III in Ambulance Communications - Call Taking and a Certificate IV in Ambulance Communications - Dispatch and certification to practice as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher in Queensland; or equivalent qualifications, as determined by the Commissioner, QAS.
- Applicants are required to hold an open Queensland “C” Class Driver's Licence.
- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business.
- Whilst not mandatory, possession of a recognised degree in information technology and certification in Managing Successful Projects (PRINCE2), including experience in the use of project management tools and systems, will be highly regarded.
- Whilst not mandatory, tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in ICT, project management or a business-related discipline will be highly regarded.
