We are seeking a Principal Advisor, Strategic Insights, to play a key role in our Implementation Division in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. Working at the heart of Queensland Government decision making, you will use your research, insights and foresight expertise; strong networks, communication skills and eye for detail to enhance delivery of current and future priorities. You will provide strategic insights and foresight to support proactive responses to emerging societal and economic shifts. If you have experience in horizon scanning, trends storytelling and research and strong presentation skills, this job is ideal for you.

How you'll contribute:
As a senior team member, you will lead research, develop strategic insights, implement foresights and futures methodologies, and deliver high quality briefs. In this role, you will:
• Mentor team members in strategic thinking, frameworks and processes.
• Use your extensive professional networks while continuing to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Lead trends scanning, secondary research, and expert consultations to inform evidence-based reporting.
• Facilitate workshops, engage with the community, and influence executives through high-level discussions and engaging presentations.
• Manage projects to deliver high-quality outputs with speed and efficiency.
• Communicate complex ideas with clarity and influence.
