Gold Coast Performance Centre (GCPC), located at Runaway Bay, is a leader in the sport and recreation industry. GCPC's modern training facilities are designed both as an elite training venue and a community facility for health and fitness. The Centre caters to beginner athletes and school sporting teams, as well as hosting international and national sporting teams in purpose-built accommodation lodges.

Sport and Recreation supports and encourages participation and success in sport and active recreation through delivery of; grant funding for sport and active recreation organisations and clubs, infrastructure and participation programs, the operation of precincts and venues, and through engaging and partnering with the active industry across Queensland.

The Finance Manager has an organisational leadership role and provides oversight of all financial business functions at the Gold Coast Performance Centre.
The responsibilities of the position include:
• Lead a small administrative team to ensure operational requirements of the Centre are met and that quality client focused outcomes are achieved.
• Coordinate and manage development and maintenance of financial systems to achieve successful outcomes in the delivery of Sport and Recreation fitness, accommodation and event programs at the venue.
• Contribute to the implementation of effective and efficient business processes to ensure bookings, contracts and memberships are effectively managed and appropriately documented, communicated (internally and externally), reviewed and analysed.
• Responsible for general ledger account management and reconciliation, audit liaison and internal controls.
• Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting to internal and external stakeholders in respect to Sport and Recreation facility and business operations at the venue.
• Formulate draft and manage proposals, procurements, project plans, recommendations, submissions and briefing papers of a complex nature.
• Provide a high standard of service to customers to ensure issues are resolved and solutions developed to ensure joint business outcomes and targets are achieved.
• Provide accurate, well-researched and timely advice to colleagues and management to inform strategy, direction, implementation of related policy and procedures and generation of solutions to complex problems.
• Actively contribute to an innovative team that values continuous improvement and a collaborative culture focused on achievement of objectives within approved timeframes and budgets.
• Contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours, ensuring a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.
