The Principal Project Officer, Games Integration, plays a vital role in supporting the coordination and delivery of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This unique opportunity focuses on implementing the Games Coordination Plan and the Master List of Commitments, which serve as key frameworks for tracking the integration and progress of critical stakeholders involved in the Games. Reporting to the Director, Games Integration, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of Games integration, including the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Games coordination mechanisms.
As part of the Games integration team, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to establish robust processes and systems for monitoring progress, ensuring the effective use of project management tools and applications to achieve optimal outcomes.

This position requires a strategic, results-driven, and collaborative professional with demonstrated expertise in project management, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement across government, industry, and community sectors.
In this role you will:
• Support the implementation of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Coordination Plan, collaborating with Games Delivery Partners and Queensland Government agencies to measure and track whole of Games integration and progress.
• Provide strategic input to guide the implementation of key elements of the Master List of Commitments Delivery Framework and detailed spreadsheet including progress updates, system refinements, logic, methods and processes development, in collaboration with multiple delivery agencies throughout all planning phases of the Games lifecycle.
• Identify and drive the development and delivery of games integration projects and initiatives, such as development of capability uplift tools and materials, by engaging proactively with Queensland Government agencies and external stakeholders, while effectively managing complex relationships.
• Support the Games Integration function to establish and integrate robust measures to support reporting on team initiatives and outcomes delivered across the Games Delivery Partners.
• Build strong relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, the Organising Committee (OCOG), and key Games Delivery Partners to ensure alignment and consistency of games integration activities.
• Prepare and co-ordinate high-quality reports, briefings, presentations and dashboards for the Games Co-ordination Executive, senior leaders and governance groups, leveraging digital solutions for effective communication.
• Support Secretariats, manage working groups and prepare meeting materials and briefings for Ministers and Senior Executives.
• Contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours, ensuring a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.
