North Shore State School opened in January 2018 and is the newest state school in the rapidly expanding Northern Beaches corridor of Townsville. The school offers a contemporary campus with purpose-built facilities, including a dedicated Prep hub, science and technology centre, music rooms, outdoor learning environments and a multipurpose hall.
