Join the Delivery and Partnerships (DAP) division to drive impactful workforce and skilling initiatives across Far North Queensland. Through strong partnerships with industry, community and government and a focus on localised service delivery, DAP delivers innovative employment and training solutions, supports a quality VET sector, and leads evidence-based strategies that empower regional communities and priority industries to thrive.

About the role
As the Manager, you will:
• Lead and manage the delivery of DTET regional programs, services and regional team members, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction, while driving improvements to address gaps and enhance existing activities.
• Provide expert advice, strategic analysis and support to the Regional Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and programs that support training and skilling initiatives in the region, while recommending solutions to address identified issues at both strategic and operational levels.
• Identify and analyse complex policy issues, oversee regional planning initiatives, integrate service delivery strategies, manage risks and monitor performance while demonstrating a commitment to the department's core values.

What we are looking for
The position requires an applicant who can:
• Ensure the objectives and key performance indicators of regional programs and initiatives are achieved including preparing and presenting comprehensive delivery targets.
• Develop and maintain administrative processes and systems to ensure the provision of accurate, reliable and appropriate data that meets the reporting requirements across a wide range of regional programs and services.
• Build relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, including industry, employers, training providers, and community organisations to identify emerging trends within industry sectors and the VET system.
• Represent the region in negotiations and discussions with internal and external stakeholders and produce quality, timely reports and briefing notes on program and service delivery issues.
