We are seeking a Senior Engineer (Civil) to join our team for a permanent opportunity.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Provide support to project managers/directors in delivering infrastructure projects, through application of prequalification systems.
• Provide engineering input into prequalification systems and processes, including managing updates to all associated documentation to ensure alignment with government policies and priorities, as well as compliance with technical, legislative and legal requirements.
• Provide high level engineering input into the selection and use of materials, resources, components or systems within a project, to ensure value for money and best practices are achieved.
• Provide advice and guidance on infrastructure procurement, design, contractual issues and contract performance, in relation to the management and application of prequalification systems.
• Provide advice based on all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary to support responsible decisions and courses of actions for the prequalification of suppliers delivering consultant and construction services on road infrastructure projects.
• Identify and implement improvements to prequalification systems based on user and industry feedback.
• Monitor, provide guidance and report on supplier performance, ensuring performance management systems, are in place, supporting the delivery of individual projects within the program of works.
• Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address needs, expectations and issues that may affect the successful delivery of projects.
• Coordinate resource allocation, encouraging effective teamwork and fostering a positive attitude towards the achievement of organisational objectives.
