As a Director within the Office of the Coordinator-General (OCG), you will take a whole of government and industry perspective on key strategic issues, contribute to strategic decision making and work collaboratively to deliver the Coordinator General’s (CG) priorities and the Government’s objectives and commitments to the community of Queensland. You will lead and deliver a range of complex and diverse projects for government, leveraging the powers of the CG, to drive economic development through industry and infrastructure delivery and successful regional economic transition.

Your Responsibilities:
• Lead an empowered, highly engaged and capable team through a commitment to the CG's shared purpose, vision and values to achieve high performance and outcomes.
• Lead, facilitate and deliver a range of complex and diverse projects and programs for government that drive economic development and infrastructure initiatives with specific responsibility for leading the development assessment function in SDAs including the assessment of SDA applications, streamlining of regulatory processes, business and systems improvement, and compliance.
• Ensure effective solutions focused briefing of senior executive leadership.
• Develop strategic advice that considers a whole of government approach and leverages the powers of the CG to plan and deliver projects and infrastructure to ensure successful regional economic transition.
• Lead complex negotiations with stakeholders to achieve the government's strategic goals and integrate economic and infrastructure objectives with industry outcomes.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the CG and align functions and services to achieve good governance and balance existing and emerging priorities with stakeholder needs.
• Oversight of a portfolio of projects, including budget, risk and issues and compliance matters.
• Create a safe workplace environment that supports wellbeing and values diversity and inclusion and enables collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation.
