We are seeking an experienced Principal Lawyer in our Litigation Unit in the Brisbane CBD office. The Litigation unit has carriage of all assessment, enforcement and compliance litigation work on behalf of the department and other government departments under service level agreements, including prosecutions, appeals against decisions in relation to environmental matters before the Planning and Environment Court, and appears in the Land Court, including in relation to mining objections hearings. The Litigation Unit also provides strategic advice and direction on the department's regulatory actions and enforcement role.
