We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to temporarily join us as a Manager in the Office of the General Manager, Sector Services, for a 12-month period. In this key role, you will provide high-level strategic, operational and governance advice to the General Manager, supporting robust decision-making and ensuring effective service delivery.
You’ll lead the end-to-end management of the Office, oversee key activities and drive complex operational projects with a focus on strong governance, accountability and collaboration. Your leadership will optimise resources, enhance governance processes and strengthen communication across the Senior Executive Leadership Group.

As a Manager in the Office of the General Manager, Sector Services, you will provide high-level strategic, operational, and governance advice to support informed decision-making and effective service delivery. You will lead the Office of the General Manager, ensuring efficient operations, robust governance and strong communication across the Senior Executive Leadership Group.

• Leading and managing the operations, priorities, and performance of the Office of the General Manager.
• Driving and strengthening governance frameworks, including business planning, risk management, and compliance processes.
• Leading complex operational and strategic projects to deliver high-quality outcomes and cross-agency coordination.
• Coordinating divisional contributions to governance committees, strategic initiatives, and departmental programs.
• Managing effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated service delivery.
• Overseeing and ensuring the timely delivery of executive correspondence, including briefs and priority information requests.
• Building and maintaining collaborative relationships across the division, department and government.
• Leading complex and sensitive projects or tasks with rigorous governance and strategic foresight.
• Promoting workplace health and safety by embedding safe practices in daily operations.
