Your Key Accountabilities:

The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Supervise and coordinate the protocol functions associated with the Queensland Police Service Academy education and training programs.
  • Coordinate official functions, ceremonies, parades, official visits and activities in accordance with Queensland Police Service requirements.
  • Identify, investigate and research protocol issues and establish procedures to improve the related functions.
  • Establish and maintain effective and professional communications including building networks within the Queensland Police Service Academy programs, other Queensland Police Service establishment and external agencies.
  • Develop and train a network of Assistant Protocol Officers for the Queensland Police Service and to provide advice and support the police regions and commands as required.
  • Train and prepare police recruits in all aspects of drill for participation in induction parades.

Role Requirements:

Mandatory

  • Possession of a current Queensland Drivers Licence.

Other

  • Military experience in any of the following roles would be highly regarded:
    • Chief Clerk
    • Clerk Admin Sergeant
    • Other Ranks Clerk
