About the role

Legal Aid Queensland is seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader for its Applications team to deliver high-quality, sustainable business solutions. In this role, you will drive architectural compliance, provide expert technical advice, and oversee the design, development, and support of integrated systems that align with organisational goals. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will manage change effectively and ensure solutions meet business needs and standards. With responsibility for leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals, you will play a key role in resource and project management, while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies to deliver innovative and future-ready outcomes. If you're a proactive leader with a passion for technical excellence, we'd like to hear from you.

About you

  • You have experience leading a team in system design, application development, data modelling, and solution delivery while managing testing, maintenance, and issue resolution in complex environments.
  • You provide design and technical leadership, analyse complex issues, and deliver timely, cost-effective and innovative technical solutions that align with business needs.
  • You communicate effectively, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, negotiate persuasively, influence stakeholders and facilitate collaborative decision making.
