As the Program Performance Officer in the Asset Management team, you will have experience in enterprise information systems and an ability to extract and analyse large and sometimes complex data from the department's information systems. You will be able to work within set timeframes generate and run database queries on the departments land and building assets and maintenance and upgrade programs, including user support training. You will effectively contribute to internal process reviews of data structures, systems and reporting requirements and have a capacity to negotiate effectively with stakeholders to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
You will have a strong capacity to research and analyse solutions, and where appropriate, recommend system solutions to ensure optimal data storage, analysis, and reporting processes.
What you will be doing:
- Maintain and update departmental information systems with the ability to use a variety of software and data applications.
- Assist and provide ongoing support to service areas and agencies regarding overall property asset management functions.
- Extracting data from the department's information systems and produce information for portfolio and program reporting.
- Analysis of large and often complex datasets, including historical comparisons to support departmental strategies and influence key decisions.
- Small systems development in response to business data management need.
- Develop and produce timely high-quality reports in Excel and Power BI
- Liaise with internal staff and senior management to discuss data and information requirements, how those requirements can be satisfied and opportunities to improve data management.
- Provide day to day supervision, mentoring and support to team members involved in property registration tasks, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee the allocation of property registration tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Supporting and helping maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
