As a Manager, you will report to the Director and work closely with the wider Capital Strategy and Oversight team in the delivery of your functions. You will collaborate with senior leaders across Social and Affordable Housing Growth and the department to drive initiatives and strategies that support the delivery of social and community housing.
For full details, please refer to the role description. Some of the key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Develop and implement strategies and policies to support social and community housing programs, aligned with the Queensland Government's goal of delivering 53,500 homes by 2044.
- Deliver capital program and project reporting through effective resource planning and advanced financial, risk management, and reporting techniques.
- Oversee complex business analysis and reporting, including urgent departmental project information requests.
- Lead and participate in meetings, forums, committees, and negotiations with diverse stakeholders and data custodians.
- Prepare submissions and materials for Cabinet, Budget Committees, and Parliament to support housing capital programs.
- Build and maintain productive relationships across teams, divisions, and the department to ensure program success.
- Engage strategically with all levels of government, community housing providers, and industry bodies to achieve housing outcomes.
- Promote and uphold workplace health and safety policies as part of daily operations.
