Your role within Corporate Services will support the department to provide high-level support to the Director-General, the Executive Leadership Team and the department in the areas of audit; finance; procurement; people and culture; information and digital; strategic communication and engagement and business support. Reporting to the Manager, Data Solutions Management the Team Leader will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of data engineering and reporting professionals supporting complex data warehouse/business intelligence services.

What you will be doing:
• Lead the design, development and maintenance of data warehousing and business intelligence environments.
• Manage data governance and data management practices to ensure data is secure and auditable.
• Provide specialist data engineering and reporting advice to ICT leadership and customers.
• Develop Microsoft PowerBI reports, support and maintain associated components including Power BI Gateway.
• Mentor staff in use of specialist reporting tools and application of approved data management practices.
• Maintain a contemporary knowledge of data warehousing and reporting technology and toolsets.
• Contribute to a culture in which high quality customer service is delivered through fostering adherence to the quality system documentation and industry best practice. frameworks such as ITIL, and continually seeking improvement in the way in which work is undertaken.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with peers, clients and vendors to provide a full range of support services that meet customer service expectations.
• Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
• Manage, prioritise and allocate reporting requests from multiple business units.
