How you'll contribute:
As the Cabinet Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of operational and administrative support services to the Premier, Cabinet, Director-General and Cabinet Secretary. This role is all about process, organisation and execution - perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to make things happen.
Your contributions will include:
• Coordinating the end-to-end processes for Cabinet meetings, including lodgements, briefings and distribution of submissions, briefing papers and decisions.
• Ensuring all Cabinet activities comply within strict departmental and whole-ofgovernment guidelines, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Managing the secure storage, handling and dissemination of sensitive Cabinet documents.
• Building strong working relationships across government to support the smooth delivery of Cabinet business.
• Organising and managing logistical arrangements for Cabinet meetings, including regional and offsite locations and providing on-site support as needed.
• Monitoring and refining Cabinet processes to ensure they remain efficient, effective and aligned with best practice.
This role is for someone who loves processes, structure and operational detail - a true organiser who takes pride in ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
What you'll bring to the role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven professional who thrives in an administrative and operational environment.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• A strong understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, Executive Government, Cabinet, and Cabinet Committee processes.
• A passion for processes and structure, with a proven ability to manage complex workflows and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on building effective relationships across teams and agencies.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to refining and enhancing processes.
• Flexibility and the ability to travel intrastate as required.
