Your key responsibilities:
• Develop, communicate and implement enterprise-level IM strategies for the Department.
• Lead key activities that enhance IM maturity, including the development of policies and supporting documents.
• Contribute to the maintenance, ongoing support and future development of Departmental records management arrangements, including eDRMS and information management governance responsibilities.
• Provide IM and records management advice to DoJ staff.
• Assist business units with developing IM operational strategies.
• Contribute to whole-of-Government IM and ICT reporting activities.
• Publish specific open datasets and provide a liaison point for the whole-of-Government Open Data Office.
• Collaborate with Queensland State Archives on the transfer of records.
• Participate collaboratively in a small team, contributing to a work environment characterised by initiative, innovation and equity.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability:
• Detailed knowledge of current whole-of-Government and industry IM and recordkeeping standards, practices and implementation guidelines.
• Experience in developing and writing IM policy, guideline and implementation documents.
• Experience in using and managing M365 tools including SharePoint and Power BI dashboards.
• Contribute to workplace equity, diversity and inclusion that enriches our culture of respect and inclusion.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjusts priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with team and internal and external stakeholders.
• Support others through advice and guidance.
